AMBO, AJISOPE, OMOOLOORE STORM SAUDI ARABIA FOR UMRAH

Prominent political figures and supporters from Osun State have embarked on the lesser pilgrimage (Umrah) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of spiritual activities during this holy month of Ramadan.

Leading the delegation was Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) who was accompanied by Alhaji Abdukabir Ajisope, founder of AJISOPE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE, Hon. Olalekan Badmus a.k.a Omooloore and other notable figures from Osun State.

They travelled to the holy cities to observe the sacred rites of Umrah and participate in the final ten days of Ramadan—widely regarded by Muslims as the most spiritually significant period of the holy month.

The trio and their entourage are expected to spend the last ten days in intense prayers, supplication, and spiritual reflection at the holy sites in Makkah and Medinah. During this period, they will offer prayers for peace, unity, and continued development in Osun State and Nigeria at large.

Part of the focus of their prayers is for the peaceful and successful emergence of AMBO as the Governor of Osun State in the forthcoming political developments expected on August 15 this year. They will also pray for divine guidance and continued leadership success for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly for a victorious second-term mandate in 2027.

The pilgrimage is not only a spiritual obligation but also a moment to seek divine intervention for the progress of the state and the nation. The leaders emphasized the importance of faith, unity, and service in building a prosperous society.

They also urged citizens and supporters to remain steadfast in prayers for the peace, stability, and democratic advancement of Osun State and Nigeria.

The delegation is expected to return to Nigeria after the completion of the Ramadan spiritual retreat.
